If you’re here, it must because you either have welcomed a child into this world, or you’re getting ready to soon.

And you don’t want to miss a moment.

This year, my oldest turns 12 and my youngest (of five) turns four, and it stings to even write that.  I must have blinked because I really can’t recall how all went by so quickly. I try to not have regret in life, but when I think about it, my kids totally are the shoemakers children… with hardly any photos!

I made it my goal this year to change that,  as well as some of my offerings. To encourage families to capture more than just the newborn stage.

In an effort to make it easier for families to come back more than once a year, I am now offering a free mini milestone session OR a mini maternity for all Signature Session newborns booked this year!

There’s a million reasons why you would love capturing your pregnant belly, but for those who don’t, you have the option to redeem your free session whenever you like after your baby is 5 months old and sitting up;)

What to Budget

I would love to send you the full guide with tons of details, so please feel free to message me full details. Booking is easy! We talk a little about your desires, fill out a form with your color preferences, due date, and other important info, and a $200 retainer sets the due date on my calendar. The fee is refundable should you decide to cancel.

And I fully guarantee my work, so if you’re unsatisfied, no questions asked…. you get your investment back.

If you’re curious (I can’t blame you!), sessions range from $199 to $1199 with a ton of options in between for varying budgets:)

Frequent Questions

Where will we hold our session?  That is totally up to you! Google may have pulled up one of my three studios from the past ten years, but recently, we moved to offering sessions in our newly built studio in Taneytown Maryland, OR the option to hold it in your own home. There’s no difference in options whether we hold it in your home or in the studio.

Do you photograph weddings?
At this time, my focus is on the little ones and their families. However, please ask for a list of our highly recommended referrals!

When should we do my maternity session/pregnancy photos?

The best time to  photograph maternity, is around the 32-36th week.

How do you schedule a newborn session when the baby isn’t here yet?
Let me know your estimated due date, and I will pencil it in on my calendar. When baby does arrive, contact me as soon as you can, and we will set up a specific date. Newborn sessions are always held within 2-3 weeks of baby’s birth. Make sure you book your session while you are still pregnant to make sure we can get you on the calendar!

What are your family sessions like, what do we wear, and what are the locations?
Family sessions are SO MUCH FUN! We laugh, play, tickle and capture those real smiles. When you are ready to book, let me know and I will send you a link to our detailed Client Information site. I have location samples, an extensive “What to Wear” section and more!

Do you offer holiday cards or birth announcements?

In the past, I have enjoyed working with clients to create custom designed birth announcements and holiday cards. While I love helping clients customize their cards, I’ve always wanted to offer more variety while maintaining quality and good design. So we are partnering with the talented designers over at Tinyprints.com. More details on our storefront coming soon.
